LSVT began as an effective speech treatment for people with Parkinson’s Disease. LSVT Loud for Kids is an evidence-based speech/voice treatment for children with Down’s Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy that is shown to increase vocal loudness, articulation, speech intelligibility, confidence in communication, and neural function related to speech and voice. This is an intensive speech program that involves 4 therapy sessions a week for 4 weeks followed by a 12-week maintenance program.
