The Special Learning Center (SLC) is growing!

We are currently seeking a F/T Development Director to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to changing the lives of children in Central Missouri.  This leadership position will assist with revenue development and marketing strategies including working with the Executive Director to  develop and implement a resource development plan; identify and cultivate current/prospective donors; coordinate all fundraising special events; manage the annual giving campaign; coordinate public relations efforts; implement a donor recognition strategy.   The successful candidate must have experience in event planning, donor relations, sales, and/or marketing/public relations.  SLC is seeking candidates with a positive attitude, an outgoing personality, and the ability to articulate SLC’s mission and success stories.  Candidates must be organized, hard-working, be able to work occasional evenings and weekends for events; and demonstrate the ability to lead volunteers and be comfortable asking for donations.    Compensation based on experience.  SLC offers a competitive benefit package including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) match, and more.  Candidates who possess the skills required and the desire to help grow the Special Learning Center are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter to sjohnson@speciallearningcenter.com.
